![]() | EERIE INDIANA. This site is dedicated to a TV program from the early 1990's. I don't remember it, but the webmaster says it was really a predecessor of THE X-FILES. Included here is an episode list, an explanation of the premise of the TV show, some photos and the resume of the leading actor. The webmaster has nothing about himself. He (or she) is on the Give Me Pigs Webring (for 119 strange people), which leads to: | ![]() |
The Eclectorium, Tom Weir's site. Tom is a student at the University of Texas in Austin and is an ENTJ. This is a truly extensive site, with links to a great many eclectic sites and stuff all over the web. Tom shares a lot of the philosophical issues and literature he is studying. Something I had not seen before this site was a Space Ghost Page, with downloadable sounds from the cartoon talk show of that name. There is even a Ghost Planet Ring, which 55 people have joined. This takes me to:
Shock Monkey's Space Ghost Blowup. Shock Monkey lives in Orlando, Florida and is clearly a talented student of Dynamic HTML. This site is highly interactive where Space Ghost and others from this highly acclaimed television program kill, among others, Roseanne, Urkel and Barney. Another WebRing is the Brak Ring, which took us to:
Lebbo's Dave Page. This page is little more than a large collection of pictures of Dave Letterman, categorized into Great Pics, Dorky Pics, and some sound files. Since the only web ring visible is the Dave Letterman Ring, I chose to go into Lebbo's guest book and came up with:
Bizzy's Den: House of Wealth. Bizzy lives in Malaysia and this site is a collection of banners and areas that are moneymakers or links to them, also many ways one can promote their own site. Three days before I arrived here, Bizzy had been visited by:
Carrera4s, who is into Islam and Porsches, and offers (very nice) pages with Poetry, Thoughts, his or her own Nostalgic Thoughts and a pretty good section of reference stuff on the Web. Very little personal background on Carrera4s, but s/he shares many inner thoughts. The only web ring present was the Kuwaiti Ring, which has 57 sites in it.
Hesham Alrashdan. Kuwait, media links. Software, screensavers, etc. This site really is nothing more than a listing of links, albeit many. Last one who had signed the guestbook was:
In fact, Naser Al had signed the guestbook 3 times! Naser's page has the most beautiful left-side border I've seen yet! His pages are slow to load, but worth the wait. He has obviously learned a bit about Javascript and animations. Naser is a Mechanical Engineering student in the U.S. (Pennsylvania), but is from Kuwait. He tells about his country here. Good music is playing underneath the sites; he says he enjoys chatting and creating websites; in fact he links to another where, he says, he will link with some Graphics sites. He has excellent taste, too. From the Arabic Webring, with 16 sites, I leaped to:
Awadh Al=Qayudhy, who is from Omam. This is another large page, but is interactive. From here, you can do almost anything: shop, get clip art, play Pingmaster, or download software. He is, of course, on the Arab Ring, but also the Patrick Stewart Ring. Much of the earlier part of the page is in Arabic, but there is more English toward the bottom. Of the 68 sites on the ICQ Chatters and their Homepages (ICQ C.A.T.H.) Ring, I leaped to a change of pace:
