Amy Osborn runs this website for the wives of pastors and women in the clergy. There are message boards, chats, e-mail discussion lists and just plain all kinds of support sources for these women who are both "in the shadows" and "in the spotlight". Amy and her husband, Eric, share their story and interests (adoption, home schooling) from Reedsport, Oregon.

ESCAPE -- THE FAMILY VALUES WEBRING

Barnettnet. This is a family and genealogy page run by Bill and LaQuinta Barnett of El Paso, Texas, both retired teachers. The Barnetts have three grown sons and six grandchildren and are proud of their Scottish Heritage. They all link to one another and have their own Barnett Genealogy WebRing.

ESCAPE -- BARNETT GENEALOGY WEBRING

Paula's Family Connections. Paula Ausmus Moore recently re-vamped her entire site when she started seeing her border background all over the net. She lives in Jones Creek, Texas and is 33 years old. In addition to her genealogy activities, Paula is mother of 3 children under 6, is about to start substitute teaching, having come from a long line of teachers. She is a community leader for Geocities. The more I read about her, the more I realize how very busy she is. The top border of her page (in frames) is a bit larger than it needs to be.

ESCAPE -- HEARTLAND GENEALOGY SOCIETY

Kallysta's Library. Kallysta's name is Berit Muncy. She is a homemaker, mother of 2, and part-time student at St. Petersburg Junior College (Florida), into Genealogy, Science Fiction, Role Playing Games and cross-stitching. She mentions a new anecdote about a cousin who survived the TITANIC, but I couldn't find it.

ESCAPE -- HEARTLAND HILLS RING

Firerose Maine Coon Cats. This really is a pretty nice site. Helen displays her Maine Coon Cats, which are indeed beautiful. She has had a number of Grand Champions and quite a few that have been passed on to other people. She keeps some as pets and they all live in the Pacific Northwest Area. Also included: an interesting page of etiquette very useful for being a spectator at a cat show.

ESCAPE -- HEARTLAND HILLS RING

Heartland Hills Community Center. A "Central Meeting Area" for those in the Heartland Hills neighborhood of Geocities. From this site you can get a set of Heartland Hills Graphics (this is where I got this totally cool background), check out some of the "happenings" of the neighborhood, and get some help for setting up a web page. The Community Leader for June (still posted) is Nellie, and this site has a link to her page.

ESCAPE -- GUESTBOOK ENTRY 7/20/99

Tisse's Page. Here we get a picture of a cat and 3 links to some non-English sites. Does not connect out.

End of this Leap.
