He now has 7 Sections, with 5 books, and people can sign up for his mailing list and get his poetry as soon as he writes it. He has written 148 poems as of the day I first leaped in. (only 6396 hours to 2000). Jeremy is a senior at Kamiak High School in Mukilteo, Washington, on the eastern shore of Puget Sound, 20 miles north of Seattle, where he is president of the Computer Club. He has an extensive humor archive and links to Search Engines and SciFi/Fantasy Writing Workshops, among other areas. Whatthehell, there are almost 3000 sites on the Poetry Ring; let's hit another:
MoonKyst. Also known as Edith. MoonKyst is 14 years old and in 9th Grade. She is a very experienced webmistress and links to her previous efforts (quite good, all of them) at web pages. Her purpose for the current page is that she is proud of who she is becoming.
YOU GO, MOONKYST!I just had to share this logo of hers; I love it! | ![]() |
A Lonely Place of Dying. "Raphaela" (her Tripod name) has an extensive site. She, like many teenagers, is searching her soul and has found a very good creative outlet with the Web. She lives in California and enjoys visiting and photographing graves in cemetaries. There is a very interesting section in which she talks about a murdered classmate, too. Leaping to one of the 409 sites on the GeekGirls Ring, I meet: | ![]() |
Angel , who also goes by "Kayla", a 16 year old high school student in Tennessee, who has just returned from her first trip to Europe. Actually, the title of her Website is "Never Broken", which she explains. This site has an excellent layout and is one of the easiest to get around that I've seen. Out of the 53 sites from the "Learn to be a Stranger" webring, I was sent to:
![]() | away from the maddening crowd, run by Mia BeautifulFountain. Mia is 18, lives in Helsinki and is about to graduate high school. Her most recent entry in her journal was the day I leaped in (April 12). Another writer, she writes of some very deep thoughts but retains her air of mystery. She confesses to being an ICQ addict. Again, a unique concept in design -- very much a labyrinthe, but a fascinating one. From the "Lives Written" WebRing, a Ring of 140 members, each with an on-line journal, I leap now to: |
