This is the homesite of Sarah A. Packard a college student in Ann Arbor, Michigan. She has had this website since 1995, so she's an old hand at the WWW. She was born in Los Angeles in 1978, and has lived in England and Hong Kong with her family. She is also into theater, and has a fascinating page that just lists unusual things about herself. I feel like I have really met her in person from this. She took the name "AbbaGirl" after her favorite rock group. She has a number of other favorites as well. A Site worth visiting. Sarah just finished being in a production of THE GONDOLIERS and I'm sorry I missed it!
UNUSUAL FACT ABOUT THIS SITE: NO GUESTBOOK!! (she explains...)
So, from the 64-member Grrl Nrrd WebRing, I leap over to:
"Katie", a 15 year old who will not divulge her real name or location; can't blame her, although she has dropped enough clues that can narrow her down to one of about 1,000 people. She is a relative newcomer to the Web (since June) and has done a really creditable job. Good layout, she is clearly very well versed in DHTML. Amazing taste and talent for one her age. She is about to set up her own webrings, the Good Luck Ring and the Slacker Ring (they're not hooked up yet). However, out of the 511 sites on ThE GrOoVy RiNg, I leaped to:
The Hidden Cove, run by Kauai Girl (sometimes known as Cali-Girl). She actually LIVES in California, but loves Hawaii. Has some dynamite surfing pictures up. She has an interesting "lame-ass letter" that seems like an interesting way or retaliating on enemies. Hmmm.... My exit to one of the 77 "Roxy Friends" led me to:
michelle*s personal page. Michelle is a relative newcomer to the WWW. I was only number 129 to log onto her site, and 57 of them had signed her guest book! She starts out by remembering her friend Chris, who died of AIDS on New Years Day and a lot of people offer condolence. She is a tall (5'7") blonde California High School Freshman at Silverado High School in Victorville), age 14. And from the clumsily-named WebRing of "surf-skate-snow-roxy-fashion" (with 95 members), there waiting for me, was:
